RETAL Industries LTD has earned A- score from CDP and demonstrates leadership in the Plastic Product Manufacturing Activity Group.
CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project) represents the reference for investors, to assess companies, cities, states and regions’ performance in climate change management evaluation. It is the mainstream tool for private companies to evaluate their suppliers.
Emmanuel Duffaut, Chief Sustainability Officer at RETAL, states, ‘Our A- score from CDP is a significant achievement and sends a strong message to our employees, customers, and stakeholders about our commitment to sustainability. RETAL ranks among the top 18% of companies in the Plastic Product Manufacturing Activity Group, demonstrating leadership in this sector. This rating provides confidence to our partners, assuring them that our products: PET preforms, HDPE closures, and rigid APET and flexible plastic films, are manufactured sustainably.’
RETAL’s A- CDP score has been achieved through continuous effort to embed climate change into its long-term strategy, management and operations, materialized recently by setting science-based targets validated by SBTi, performing a risk assessment following the TCFD guidelines and reducing GHG emissions.
